Our professional clients remain the data controllers for personal data relating to their channels, accounts, catalogs, and audiences.
LEONY processes such data solely on the documented instructions of its customers, in accordance with the contracts concluded with them, and only for the purposes necessary to provide distribution, indexing, optimization, and reporting services.
10.2 Management of access tokens
To enable connection to and use of our customers’ accounts and catalogs, LEONY manages access tokens issued by third-party platforms, for example via OAuth or equivalent mechanisms, in the name and on behalf of subscribed customers.
These tokens are stored securely, including encryption in transit and at rest and strict access controls, and are used only to perform actions explicitly authorized by the customer, such as indexing content, retrieving statistics, managing video assets, or publishing content where this functionality is enabled.
10.3 Data isolation between customers
LEONY implements technical and organizational measures to ensure strict isolation of data between its different customers, including their video catalogs, metadata, statistics, and access tokens.
Each customer has its own logical space or tenant with permission-based access controls, so that no user or system of another customer can access data that is not intended for them.
10.4 Third-party APIs and services used
To provide its digital distribution features, LEONY may interact with third-party APIs, including, depending on the options enabled by the customer:
- APIs of social and video platforms, for example Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, YouTube/Google, X/Twitter, and similar services

Operational data relating to digital distribution, for example technical logs, API traces, and metadata necessary to track distribution actions, is retained for the duration of the contract and may be archived for an additional limited period where necessary to comply with legal, accounting, evidential, or security obligations, including in the event of a dispute or a request from an authority.
